I actually think tonight might suit us better. If crossing is the plan, then crossing in to a 5’6” striker in a packed box with steady build up play will do nothing as we’ve seen. It needs to be more incisive and quick.
We will be more likely on the counter attack, so get the wingers forward with balls over the top and get flat crosses in behind the defence across goal to run on to. That might work. I’ll see you in three hours when we lose 5-0 ?

Just can't get my head around SC's transfers thinking. Now this could have been RM's fault but why did we let Charly go only to see him end up at Everton. Just think Alcarez, Dibbling, Fernandes and Welington all in midfield.

Selling Alcarez was a mistake. We have no midfielder with a real goal threat right now.

Charly needed to stay, I think he wanted top flight but is the Brazilian league top flight football? The club should've just loaned him out but we sold him and got BBD and Archer instead
Suitable replacement? I think not. Primarily for BBD.
Transfers is one thing the club needs to fix you can't expect survival if you sell a prem player and buy a championship one for the starting 11

Just don’t get this problem with Charly. Him with Fernandes is a fantastic opportunity. Adam would sort out English issues and if we are asking for 40m he is certainly woth keeping.
